This motorcycle is based on the Yamaha YZF750 endurance racer that dominated the 1987, 88 Suzuka 8-hour endurance race. The bike shows their engineering spirit, in this limited production motorcycle, by using the serial code "OW" as seen on their works prototypes. The powerplant is a 749cc, liquid cooled, 4 stroke, 4 cylinder, 5-valve, forward-leaning low-center-of-gravity engine that achieves an almost even front and rear weight distribution. This high-revving engine is virtually race-ready, with extensive use of hi-tech materials such as titanium. The swing arm rear suspension, and lateral "Deltabox" aluminum box frame follows the YZF design, provided exceptional weight savings and rigidity during all-out competition. The suspension unit is fitted with state-of-the-art racing components assuring crisp response for the most demanding riders. Just like their works machine, much human labor is used on each unit, such as the hand laid-up FRP cowling, adding unmatched quality. This pure-bred racing machine will make its way to only a thousand lucky riders around the world.
