Entered by Team Honda Racing, the Takata Dome NSX was piloted by Ryo Michigami, widely considered as Honda's ace driver, and rookie Takashi Kogure during the 2005 Super GT season. The KV-1
Among the unpleasant surprises that awaited the German army as it invaded Russian in 1941 was the KV-1 heavy tank. When it entered service, it was perhaps the most formidable heavy tank in the world. Armed with a powerful 76.2mm gun and with armor thick enough to withstand attacks from nearly all anti-tank guns at the time, it could easily hold its own against the German army's tanks.

Weighing in at more than 50 tons, the monstrous KV-2 was designed to be an assault tank that would support advancing infantry. Housed in its massive turret was a 152mm main gun that could take out enemy defensive emplacements like bunkers. Its thick armor was also immune to attacks from most anti-tank guns of the period.

Large Caliber Gun & Low Silhouette
The imposing Russian SU-122, with its powerful 122mm cannon, is now a member of the 1/48 Military Miniature Collection. Its simple, angular crew compartment featured a distinctive bulbous gun mantle and was mounted on a modified T34 chassis. Hull details such as the engine grilles, cylindrical extra fuel tanks, and spare track links are also accurately reproduced. Line it up with its German StuG counterparts for an interesting comparison of assault gun design philosophies.

During the early stage of WW2, Germany achieved outstanding successes by using "Blitzkrieg" tactics with motorized troops. In order to counter this, the Allied nations required tough and reliable vehicles with excellent cross-country ability. In mid 1940, the U.S. Army ordered development of a small sized, multi-purpose 4-wheel drive vehicle to meet this need.
