Tamiya now releases the Abrams as a finished model. The M1 Abrams, officially commissioned by the US military in 1980, played a significant role in the capture of Baghdad during Operation Iraqi Freedom and continues to play a vital role in U.S. activities in Iraq.
This fully assembled 1/35 scale M1A2 Abrams is pre-painted with all markings pre-applied. Markings represent a M1A2 of the 2nd Platoon, F Company, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment in Iraq in 2003.
