Kanrin Maru is the first sailing ship in Japan to sail the Pacific Ocean to the United States.
A sailing ship where Japan in the Samurai period ordered shipbuilding in the Netherlands. The sailboat was a screw-propelled ship equipped with a steam engine on a wooden hull.
Kanrin Maru is a historical sailing ship sailing to San Francisco to conclude the Japan - US Trade Treaty Convention in 1860.
