About the Sensouji-Kaminarimon
Sensouji-Kaminarimon was established in 942, and in the Kamakura period a wind god and a thunder god were served.
The building repeatedly rebuilt several times, and in recent years Mr. Konosuke Matsushita (Panasonic founder) donated gates and large lanterns. This gate, which is suspended by large lanterns, is known as a landscape representative of Japan.
