53 Stations of the Tōkaidō Series "Arai Sekisho"
"53 Stations of the Tōkaidō" which is one of the five major roads built in the Edo period. Arai Sekisho was placed at 31 locations from Edo (Tokyo).
It is a facility to monitor the entry and exit of supplies and people entering Edo.
