General Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu built the Edo castle in 1606. It was rebuilt twice in 1622 and 1638. The castle tower was never rebuilt after it was destroyed by the 1657 Great Fire.
The height of the castle is 44.8 meters and the stone wall is 12 meters high. The stately figure of the castle shows the prestige of the shogun.
The kit is reproduced on the 1/150 scale in detail with reference to the architectural drawing of the old book.
Laser processing parts are used for main parts. Metal parts are plated 24k, brass etching parts are used.
The castle tower is a newly designed structure with emphasis on ease of making.
